  • George A. Stover III

    Owner, Director of Photography

    While most producers never touch a camera, George is a master of his. His Emmy credits include awards for best photographer, best editing and co-producer on various projects in his career. He is also the producer of numerous nationally- and locally-distributed television programs including "Shark Encounters of the Bahamas," "Mysteries of Bimini," "Dolphin Encounters," "Dance of the Devil Rays," "Shipwrecked in Bermuda," "Manatees - Florida's Gentle Giants," and the multiple-award-winning weekly children's show "Aqua Kids." George's work has appeared on NBC, ABC, CNN, The Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and The Nashville Network, in addition to numerous local-affiliate U.S. television stations. George holds a degree in Screen Arts from the University of Maryland and has been in the television industry for more than 30 years. He is a certified SCUBA instructor.

    Robert Koenig

    Chief of Operations, Senior Producer

    Robert Koenig is a multiple Emmy-nominated producer, director and editor. He has won numerous film festival awards for his work on "Returned: Child Soldiers of Nepal's Maoist Army," including the prestigious Artivist Award for Child Advocacy. He also produced "Coexist," which was nominated for an African Movie Academy Award for "Best Documentary Film".

    Before joining Adventure Productions, Robert gained valuable experience as a producer and writer while working in creative services at major market television stations in Atlanta, GA. Additionally, he has been a successful freelance producer and story consultant for documentaries, commercials, and special projects. Robert is an adjunct professor in The Department of Electronic Media & Film at Towson University and a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.

    JD Beales

    Chief Editor, Motion Graphics Artist

    JD is an award-winning editor, motion graphics artist, and animator with a BFA in Film, Video, and Animation from Rochester Institute of Technology. He has worked as an online editor for National Geographic Channel, and was editor and studio technician on the long-standing FOX Television show America’s Most Wanted. In 2009 the feature film “Ninja’s Creed”, a film co-edited by JD, was released in the theaters and subsequently released on DVD by Lionsgate. JD’s work can also be seen on The Discovery Channel and TLC.

    Carol Stover

    Marketing Director, Key Makeup

    Carol comes from a strong advertising and marketing background since 1977, majoring in graphic design and illustration at both CCBC and MICA. She owned a photography studio from 1982 to 2005, and there developed her skills in fashion and art direction. Carol also worked concurrently as a professional makeup artist for 27 years, and has worked with clients such as NASDAQ, History Channel, Bahamas Tourism, Sarah Ferguson the Duchess of York, numerous political and media figures, and every local TV station and sports team. She has been a makeup instructor, and a speaker and trainer for several cosmetic companies, and continues to hold workshops and give personal instruction to models, performers and members of the news media. An artist since childhood, her approach to makeup work is detailed and creative, lending a clean, professional touch to every project.

    Mark Sanders

    Creative Consultant

    Mark is a Baltimore native and has been a writer and artist over twenty-five years. He collaborated on numerous films with Maryland film guru Skizz Cyzyk (MD Film Festival, MicroCinefest) and was co-producer and screenwriter for the feature film "One Down" (UpShot Moving Pictures). He was a leading figure in the Baltimore arts community, organizing scores of multi-media events, and has been a featured speaker at the Maryland Institute College of Art, The Martin Luther King Memorial Library, The WHFS Festival at RFK Stadium and countless other venues. He was awarded an individual artist grant by the Maryland State Arts Council, garnered two City Paper "Baltimore's Best" awards for his literary events and publications, and won 1st place in the 8th annual City Paper poetry contest. His work has appeared in numerous publications including "The Pearl" and "The Shattered Wig Review." Mark's creative skills include poetry, screenplays, set design, skit-comedy, music, lyrics, illustration, graphic design, and fabrication.

    Adam Shinn

    Graphics Editor, Audio Technician

    Adam Shinn is a graduate of Towson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in film. He has a wide range of production skills including camera operation, audio, lighting, grip, teleprompter operation and production assisting. His post-production talents include editing in Final Cut Pro, creating still and motion graphics in Adobe Photoshop and Aftereffects as well as creating captioning for video. Adam is also a capable voiceover artist with the ability to do many celebrity impressions. In addition, he has produced several short narrative films and has a strong background in art and photography. Adam currently edits and creates the graphics for Adventure Productions’ TV series “Aqua Kids” special educational segments, such as Weird Waters and Aqua Heroes.
