George holds a Screen Arts degree from the University of Maryland Baltimore County, and began his career over 40 years ago by shooting 16mm film for every project. He took a job right out of college with WMAR-TV as a videographer and editor and worked with them for 25 years, earning numerous distinctions and awards for his work. In 1994 he launched his own company in a spare room of his townhouse by creating the weekly TV shows “Around the House” and “Bloomin’ in the Garden,” which both aired regionally for over 10 years. In fact, a total of seven successful TV series of various themes have been produced by George through Adventure Productions. As a scuba diver and dive instructor, George also loved shooting underwater video, and he has produced many award-winning nature and environmental documentaries centered in the Caribbean area. In 2002, he created the Emmy & Telly award-winning children’s TV series “Aqua Kids©” which ran in syndication for 13 seasons, teaching young people about preserving marine and aquatic environments all around the world.

Over the years, George’s work has appeared on Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, NBC, CNN, ABC, Comcast and MASN, among other networks. He has also taught photojournalism as an adjunct professor at Morgan State University, and continues to volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America. George specializes now in medical, corporate and sports videography for local & national companies and news outlets.

CAROL STOVER

Carol has worked in numerous aspects of the production and marketing industries for over 35 years. She studied graphic design & illustration at both CCBC and MICA, and worked as an artist in several advertising agencies at the start of her career. She then began freelancing as a designer, helped to manage a small modeling agency, and eventually teamed up with local photographers Kurt Frank and later Adrienne Novak to become the key makeup artist and business partner in a successful commercial photography studio for over 15 years. Carol then gravitated toward makeup artistry as a full-time business, while also being involved in demonstrations for cosmetic companies and makeup instruction for makeup schools, actors and newscasters. She joined George in his video production company in 2008, and helps to organize the marketing and studio rental aspects of the business. In 2016 Carol worked together with local artist Mark S. Sanders and her neighborhood community association to create the Overlea ArtsFest, a 501c3 non-profit that produces an annual arts festival to showcase new & emerging artists, and continues to serve as president on their board.
